Neurological Impairment or Identity?

For a very long time now I have been observing the many behaviors demonstrated in the trans community that lead me to do intense research.  I have come to the conclusion that gender dysphoria is based on a neurological impairment with many of the candidates being part of the Autistic Syndrome.  The lack of information from the so called specialists who deal with this disorder is doing the community a major injustice and not painting the full picture.

It is very evident with today’s gender confused kids, who are leading their treatment plan while the so-called “professionals” sit back and observe. Can someone say train wreck in the making?  Fast forward a few years, and in the adults we see bouts of depression, anxiety, behavior issues when they don’t get their way, shutting down of communication, threats to self-harm, violence, and lack of coping skills. I have always said that gender dysphoria is like a cough is to a cold, a cough is not the main problem, just a side effect of the initial virus or bacterial infection, so is identity crisis, the obsessed individual becomes totally in tune with them being different and gender becomes the target of their obsession.

In many of the adults diagnosed with “GD,” there is a history of poor coping skills, quietness, escapism, lack of finishing projects, irresponsibility, a very large imagination, inability to communicate, shutting down, easily frustrated, OCD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, poor body image, obsessed with looks, Sci-Fi aficionado, geek and self-obsession, just to name a few of the common clusters that are all based on a neurological hiccup or impairment. All brought upon endocrine disruption due to the environment in and out of utero development.

In the last 100 years, we have seen a surge of neurological and psychological impairments based on the industrialization of our world.

Mental problems existed in pre-industrial society too but the epidemic of mental problems came with industrialization………Just like obesity existed in pre-industrial society too but the epidemic of obesity came with industrialization.

Life tragedies, personal and family issues affect the mind…….They affected the mind before industrialization and they affect the mind after industrialization………The extra thing that brought the epidemic of mental problems is the change in lifestyle after industrialization and urbanization.

Short attention spans and hyperactivity are a consequence of the fast paced lifestyle after industrialization and urbanization…….Mental illness is a consequence of the switch-over from physical work to mental work, desk jobs, schools, and colleges……..Mental illness is a consequence of the switch-over from living in small communities in large cities……..Mental illness is a consequence of the switch-over from producing food to producing consumer goods.

A society that speeds up mentally experiences every mental slowing-down as depression / anxiety.

A traveling society that speeds up physically experiences every physical slowing-down as depression / anxiety.

A society that entertains itself every day experiences every non-entertaining moment as depression / anxiety.

The increase in these children who are born gender fluid or gender confused is alarming and worthy of further investigation. This one size fits all approach is dangerous and irresponsible. There is a series on CBS called Kids on the Edge worth watching and investigating. http://www.transgendertrend.com/kids-on-the-edge-the-gender-clinic/ It’s time to remove our veil, stop with the temper tantrums and selfish needs, and really to start looking at the real issue here, and gender is definitely not it.  There have been two-spirited people, intersex people and people who don’t fit the gender box since the beginning of time, but what we are seeing now is alarming, and the treatment barbaric. What if we taught society to accept differences, instead of forcing the peg into a hole?

Till Next Time

  1. Very well said. I am dealing with my husband and his gender dysphoria and now his transitioning to a woman. Everything you said in your article is everything I have felt which has in turn caused my husband and I to resently seperate. He can not handle the fact that I do not see he is a woman and that his transitioning is the right thing to do. Before his gender dysphoria became the center of his world our life was a normal loving husband and wife relationship. He was a very confident, strong man.
I hope your artical can help our society see that the way gender dysphoria is being treated with transitioning, hormones and surgeries, is NOT going to help the dysphoria ho away the problems that lie deep within these people are not being helped. Thankbyou again for the information.
